I think this piece is next to mutate. I just added the fingerspelling pencilmations and realized I want to layer this piece up with some more imagery and text from my journals. The initial piece I probably did in a night… just writing on sheet after sheet and shooting them (once again, mini-MPEGS on the still camera). Still thinking about hypnosis and magic. This was very much a spell… I always felt this piece was a specific calling out for and expression of love in my life. I was feeling very grateful and knew somehow that sharing an expression of this gratitude would have very nice experiential echoes.
My observations lend credence to this idea. It definitely got me laid a bunch of times. I mostly “cut” this in after effects and then just dropped “simpletongue” in out of my cinemathematica stuff. Again it just seemed to fit right away… I played around a little bit with timings, but for the most part it stayed as it was after the first visual jam. That is, until now.
